Besides climbing the Leaning Tower and visiting the grand Duomo, the Baptistery in Pisa is also a must-see sight, though a “must-hear” sight is probably a more accurate description. The dome above was so well constructed that Italian musicologists claims that this building is actually an musical instrument (see article here). Security guard here sings every half-hour, demonstrating the baptistery’s perfect acoustics. We filmed this during our visit in May of 2015.
